MENT is the leading AI decision-making platform that helps teams make decisions in the workplace, in a more streamlined and efficient manner. You can manage the entire decision making process on MENT, from posing the question, to holding the discussion and then finally making the decision. MENT moderates the entire discussion and pushes the leading decisions up to help you make better decisions, in a faster time-frame.
MENT has two main elements:
The user poses a question (possibly also setting a due date), by clicking the “New Discussion” button. Other users are then invited to discuss the question and they can propose alternative answers. Each answer is then debated by the teammates, either supporting or disagreeing with the proposed answer. Users can incorporate links and data sets to support their claims. MENT smart algorithm scores the best answers and points to the most interesting debates, to be presented on the “Analytics” tab. Each discussion is closed by the original Question-owner who can take a decision based on the discussion analytics.
MENT’s scoring engine is the smart algorithm that helps organise the discussion. The MENT score is based both on a smart peer review and data analytics. It is not a simple average of votes, but based on the discussion structure and similar past discussions. Each discussion is stored in a graph database and Bayesian and Machine learning algorithms then decide the score. MENT also follows the activity of each of the participants to decide their domain expertise and include this information in the scoring mechanism. Analysis on typical behavior of different departments is also incorporated into the algorithm.
MENT is the first smart discussion tool that implements Bayesian and Machine Learning tools to business discussions and decisions. The structured discussions allows the algorithms to assign a level of confidence to each of the claims, therefore pointing to the best answer at the due date and allowing a quick and reliable decision-making process. Furthermore, MENT analyses the company’s internal and employee knowledge to decide on different expertise levels and compensate for human psychological biases such as “group think”. All discussions are kept in a knowledge base, hence allowing a modern “knowledge analytics” and much better use of past knowledge in future decisions.
At any point, you can press the “Invite” button, and invite new participants by inserting their email address. Email notification is then sent to the new user for a quick sign up process. You can invite both internal and external users, inside and outside of your organisation.
Currently, we allow uploading from Tableau Public only. With time we will integrate many more of the BI and Data Analytics tools. From Tableau, you have to save your dashboard to “Tableau public” and then copy the url and paste in within the relevant claim you are contributing. Its best to choose on Tableau dashboard the “automatic” size option for best view on MENT. After sharing your dashboard the data will be presented live, and others will be able to explore your dashboard and comment on it in different ways. Other types of data sets should be attached for now as files or as screenshots.
You can integrate MENT into your company’s Slack channel. You can download the bot both from MENT website and from Slack app store. One person in your company, with Slack admin permission, should download the bot, and thereafter everyone can use the bot from within public Slack channels. To initiate a new discussion just type “/ment-ask” and then the question you have, and it will be introduced to your peers. For more details on the MENT bot for Slack see https://slack.com/apps/A7ZV4MVB2-ment .
We will soon allow integration into Gmail, Teams and other collaboration platforms. For any specific requests, feel free to contact our customer support.
