This Privacy Policy outlines Epistema’s practices with respect to using and processing Customer Information (as defined below), which Epistema obtains through Customers’ use of the Service. We encourage Customers to read the Privacy Policy carefully and use it to make informed decisions. Please note that this Privacy Policy does not apply to the Epistema’s practices with regards to information obtained through Epistema’s website (at – “the Site”).

What Information do we collect?

We will collect information which Customers will voluntarily submit through the use of the Service, which may also include Personal Information (as defined below), either of the Customer’s representative uploading the data or of the Customer’s end users.

“Personal Information” means information that can be directly associated with a specific person, such as name, gender, birth date, marital status, professional experience, education, or credit card information.

When using the Service, Epistema may also collect un-identified and non-identifiable information pertaining to a Customer(s), by using our third party service provider, Inspectlet. (“Non-personal Information”). For more information on Inspectlet and the specific information it gathers and its privacy practices, please refer to their terms of use at Customers’ Personal Information and Non-personal Information shall be collectively defined as “Customer Information”.

How is the Customer Information used? With whom do we share Customer Information?

We will use the Customer Information to provide our Customers with the Service.

Epistema may also use Customer Information internally – for example, for statistical purposes, to help diagnose problems with Epistema’s servers, to make the Site or Service more useful, or to customize the Site or Service and similar activities.

Epistema does not rent, sell, or share Customer Information with third parties except as described in this Privacy Policy.

We may use and disclose Customer Information that is collected through the Service with our trusted third party service providers or with members of our corporate family.

We may also disclose Customer Information if we have good faith to believe that disclosure of such information is helpful or reasonably necessary to: (i) comply with any applicable law, regulation. For how long do we retain Customer Information we collect?

Please note that unless a Customer instructs us otherwise, Epistema will retain all the Customer Information it collects.  Epistema may also retain information it collects in order to comply with Epistema’s legal obligations, resolve disputes and enforce our agreements.

Epistema may rectify, replenish or remove incomplete or inaccurate information, at any time and at Epistema’s sole discretion.

You can request at any time that Epistema will erase your Customer Information, (except for data that Epistema is required to keep under applicable law), by emailing Epistema at


When Customers use the Service, Epistema may store cookies on Customer’s’ computer in order to facilitate and customize the use of our Service. A cookie is a small data text file, which a website stores on a computer’s hard drive (if the web browser permits) that can later be retrieved to identify a user to us. Epistema’s cookies may store information regarding Customer’s approval of the use of the Service. Users are always free to decline our cookies if their browser permits, but this may require reapproving the use of the Service, in case a user chooses to use it again.

How do we safeguard our Customer Information?

Epistema takes great care in implementing and maintaining the security of the Service and Customer Information. Epistema employs industry standard procedures and policies to ensure the safety of the information we collect and retain, and prevent unauthorized use of any such information, in accordance with this Privacy Policy. Although Epistema takes reasonable steps to safeguard information, it cannot be responsible for the acts of those who gain unauthorized access or abuse the Service, and Epistema makes no warranty, express, implied or otherwise, that it will prevent such access.

Corporate transaction

Epistema may share Customer Information in the event of a corporate transaction (e.g. sale of a substantial part of our business, merger, consolidation or asset sale). In the event of the above, the transferee or acquiring company will assume the rights and obligations as described in this Privacy Policy.


Epistema forbids users under the age of 18 to register to or use the Service. In the event that Epistema becomes aware that Personal Information of a user under the age of 18 has been shared any information, by the user itself or by any other third party, Epistema will discard such information. Updates or amendments to this Privacy Policy

Epistema reserves the right to periodically amend or revise the Privacy Policy; material changes will be effective immediately upon the display of the revised Privacy policy. The last revision will be reflected in the “Last modified” section. Your continued use of the Service, following the notification of such amendments on our website, constitutes your acknowledgment and consent of such amendments to the Privacy Policy and your agreement to be bound by the terms of such amendments.
